What is 4-H?                                                            
4-H is the world's largest youth serving organization with over 6 million participants nationally. There are lots of 4-H Clubs in  Wake County - so there's a good chance that there's one at your school or in your neighborhood!  Some clubs are special interest, like horticulture or horses and others are general interest clubs and foucs on things like public speaking, leadership, and community service.                      
                                                                          
How often do 4-H Clubs meet?                                            
Most meet once or twice a month throughout the school year and may take a break during the summers so that 4-Hers can go to 4-H camp or participate in other special programs.                                   
                                                                          
Who can join?                                                           
4-H's inclusive programs, clubs, and camps are open to all youth ages 5  to 19 regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, or disabilities.                                                            
                                                                          
Can I start my own 4-H Club?                                            
Yes!  If there isn't a club near you, we can help you start one!  At least five youth and two adults are required before we can charter a new club - we can help you advertise to find additional youth or parents!
