Youth & 4-H Through 4-H, more than 8,000 young people in Wake County learn new skills and serve their communities each year. 4-H offers clubs, staff-led programs and projects, summer camps, teen programs, leadership experiences, and after-school programs. Wake County Cooperative Extension's unique partnership with Wake County Human Services enables 4-H to reach a diverse and growing group of youth, including many teenagers. 4-H youth, along with trained adult and teen volunteers, gain knowledge, skills and experience that help them become responsible citizens and leaders.
