Wake County 4-H Youth Development is happy to announce a new program initiative 4-H Leaders & Counselors In Training (LCIT). The program begins January 20, 2017. Participants meet on average twice monthly for the entire year. The goal is to train 9-12 grade students to become Youth Leaders AND Counselors where they will learn skills in becoming a camp counselor and youth leader. There will be several amazing hands on experiences and each participant will have and several opportunities to put their training to the test including a week long summer camp LCIT experience at Betsy Jeff Penn Educational Center (this is the new and improved LIT program for 2017).
