Eligibility

We pride ourselves on having strong 4-H members take part in our 4-H Horse Program. In order to show at any 4-H Horse Show, members must gain eligibility by embracing opportunities in the community. Youth must showcase their experiences on the Cab Co Horse Eligibility Regs form. In addition, youth must apply for eligibility through the N.C. 4-H Horse office. Upon completion of these two, youth will receive an N.C. 4-H Horse Eligibility Card in the mail. This original form must be signed by the parent, 4-H volunteer and county 4-H staff and must be present at EVERY 4-H Horse show at check-in.
