Speaker’s Bureau
Speakers Bureau is a group that provides research-based, garden-related education through presentations, talks, and demonstrations at garden clubs, schools, community groups, HOA meetings, public libraries, the JC Raulston Arboretum, and many other venues to diverse audiences about gardening-related topics. We also participate in special events like garden shows, expos, and open days. If there's a stage and an opportunity to talk about gardening in Wake County, we want to be there.
If you would like us to give a gardening presentation, please fill out this form. If you have any additional questions or would like a presentation on composting, please contact Kelsey Sosa atkelsey.sosa@ncsu.edu.
If you are a school that would like the Master Gardeners to give a presentation (not career days), please contact Kelsey Sosa at kelsey.sosa@ncsu.edu.
Ground Rules for Presentations
- Presentation requests must be for a minimum of 45 minutes
- Because we use PowerPoint, requestors must provide a monitor or screen for our presenters to use
- Speaking requests can only be booked 6 months in advance of the request date
- We are currently only offering the topics listed in the form, and will not create new presentations upon request. We are currently working with Wake County Libraries to offer different speaking topics, so keep an eye on their website for more information
