Job Description I'm the Consumer and Commercial Horticulture Agent in Wake County and the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Wake County Coordinator. This means I work with several groups and enhance or develop programming in several subject areas. I got my MS in Horticulture from the University of Georgia studying peaches, so my skill set is oriented toward fruits and edible crops. I work with homeowners, small farmers, local partners, landscapers, and nurserymen. Current projects in the horticulture program include: expanding outreach through social media, specialized edible gardening programs, and volunteer leadership training and recruitment.
