Additional Activities
- NC State Extension: Growing Sweetpotatoes Indoors: Sweetpotatoes can be transplanted outside in May and June once the seedlings are 4-8 inches tall
- Garden activities, making homemade bird feeders, sprouting avocado seeds
- Grow grass in cups with faces and let the kids trim it with scissors when the grass grows
- Paint some rocks as markers, decorations, and signs for gardens or potted plants
