Looking for exciting and educational summer experiences? Wake County 4-H is offering FREE summer camps filled with hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, and skill-building activities. From cooking and forestry to STEAM and fiber arts, there’s something for everyone!
Farm to Fork Camp
- Dates: June 16-20 (No camp on June 19 for Juneteenth)
- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Ages: 10-12
Discover where food comes from and how it gets to your plate! Campers will visit local farms, explore sustainable agriculture, and participate in hands-on cooking sessions. The week ends with a Cooking Challenge using fresh ingredients from a local farmers market.

STEAM Camp
- Dates: July 7-11

How to Register
All Wake County 4-H camps are FREE, but space is limited! You must register on Eventbrite for the specific camp, and if it is full, a waitlist will be available.
To attend, youth must be enrolled in Wake County 4-H through 4-H Online. Need help? Call our main office at 919-250-1100.

Betsy-Jeff Penn (BJP) 4-H Overnight Camp
Dates: June 22-27
Location: Reidsville, NC
Cost: $605/camper
Activities include canoeing, horseback riding, climbing, and campfire fun. This camp is run separately from our Wake County 4-H programs, but we take a group of youth every year to BJP! This year we are going June 22-27! It’s always a highlight of the summer, and we will provide transportation to and from the location from our office in Wake County.
