In this session, we hear from Rob Shields, Executive Director of ReCity Network, a Durham organization that provides co-working space for nonprofits, businesses, and faith partners focused on building a more just Durham. We talked with Rob about how Network members are co-working, collaborating, and building commUNITY in Durham and discussed ideas for what something like ReCity might look like in Raleigh.

Diving Deeper with ReCity (May 22, 2020) – This session is a follow-up to Social & Economic Vitality’s April 2020 conversation with Rob Shields, Executive Director of ReCity Network. In this session, we hear from ReCity Network members Syretta Hill (StepUp Durham), Geraud Staton (Helius Foundation), and Julie Wells (Partners for Youth Opportunity) about why they choose to partner with ReCity. We also start to explore the idea of partnering with ReCity to expand nonprofit co-working and collaboration opportunities in Raleigh/Wake.
